Lakeview Village secures prestigious ICAA NuStep Beacon Award for 'Best in Wellness' in 2023
Lakeview Village in Lenexa is proud to announce that it has been awarded the 2023 ICAA NuStep Beacon Award, solidifying its position among the Top 25 ‘Best in Wellness’ senior living communities in North America. This prestigious recognition is a testament to Lakeview Village’s commitment to fostering a wellness-centered community that benefits all residents and staff.
The ICAA NuStep Beacon Award, a joint initiative between the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) an organization at the forefront of leading, connecting, and defining the active-aging industry, and NuStep, LLC, a prominent manufacturer of recumbent cross-trainers widely used in healthcare, senior living, and fitness.
CEO and founder of the ICAA, Colin Milner, emphasizes the evolving importance of wellness in senior living communities. Milner states, “Wellness has evolved from being a programming option to becoming a way of life.” According to a 2023 ICAA survey, 61% of senior living communities aim to have a wellness-centered business model with care services in the next 5 years.
